U-PICK Rules & Information

              

Our U-Pick Season typically starts mid-June and goes through mid to late September. Please check our U-Pick ticket page for seasonal hours.

Rules

​

1. I understand this is a farm and that there are risks associated with a farm such as uneven land, holes, foreign material, native vegetation, trees, snakes, bugs and wildlife.

​

2. If you have a severe BEE/Stinging Insect allergy, please do not visit the farm and consider picking up a pre picked bouquet or visiting us at the farmers market. We have honeybees and other pollinators on-site and as with any outdoor activity there is always a risk that a threatened insect may bite or sting.

3. I recognize that there is physical activity and exertion involved and that everyone who participates in coming onto the farm whether it is to walk or pick flowers is healthy enough to perform the activities.


4. Pruners will be provided. I agree to use any tools provided responsibly and with care.  I understand that these tools are sharp and can cut and injury someone if not handled properly. A $20 fee will be charged for every cutter not returned or damaged.

5. Please do not allow children out of your sight. All children will be supervised at all times.


6. No horseplay or running allowed.


7. If flowers are purposely damaged in anyway you will be asked to leave the site.


8. Please pick up all trash and dispose of properly. What you carry in must be carried out.


9. Please stay on all designated paths and follow the signs.

10. No children 8yrs and under allowed to use the cutters. Children 9-12 are allowed to use children scissors. Keep an eye on

your children when they are using scissors.

11. Every Adult who walks the farm or participates in the U-pick will be charged a fee.


12. Children under 9 yrs old attend free.


13. U-pick is not appropriate for children under 4 yrs of age. Ie: Ground is not suitable for strollers, walkers, etc…
 

14. The greenhouses, home, garage and barn are off limits.


15. NO DOGS PLEASE! We have our own friendly dogs as well as cats, ducks and horses. If you have a service dog just tell us and we will put our dogs up. 


16. PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL OF OUR PROPERTY. This is our home so please do not leave trash. No smoking is allowed on the property. Keep your children close and please do not let them destroy the flowers - our property is not a playground or a park. 
 

17. We provide the vases and buckets, please don’t bring your own.


18. There is a charge of $5 per person for everyone visiting the farm that is not planning to
purchase flowers.

Important Information​​​

​

  • Think of how you will transport your flowers. Flowers like air conditioning, but don’t like open air/wind.

  • Wear proper shoes/sandals. Tennis shoes are best. The rows are grass/dirt and the ground is uneven in places.

  • Bathroom/Porta John on site.

  • Flowers have the best vase life if cut in the morning (before 11am) or late evening (after 6pm). If you cut during the heat of the day they will not last as long.

  • We will have containers of water ready for use. If your container spills while your in the flower field make sure you add water back into your container before you leave. The flowers need water at all times.

  • ​We have 3 different containers to choose from for cutting. You take these container home with you:   

  1. Child Cup $10 (for children only)

  2. 32oz Stadium Cup $30

  3. Premium Galvanized Vase $40                             

  4. 3 Gallon Buckets $85

  • Professional Photographers: For this we charge a $25 Venue Fee for 1 hour sessions. The $25 venue fee does not include flower picking, if you want to pick flowers you need to purchase one of our vase options.

  • Picnics are welcome. If your already paying to pick flowers there’s no additional fee to have a picnic, but If your coming out with a group of friends and just want to have a picnic on the property and not pick flowers we ask that you pay the $5 per  person entry fee for this. If your group is more than 8 people, please contact us ahead of time. Please clean up ALL trash and take the trash with you. We do not provide trash cans.

Return & Exchange Policy

Flowers are a perishable product. No refunds are granted.
