Our Flowers

Dahlias

Dahlias are special because of their stunning beauty and countless different varieties that offer various colors, shapes and sizes.  They are one of our biggest crops. We currently have 50+ varieties which make up our 10,000 dahlia plants.

They put on a spectacular bloom show June through September.

Zinnias

Zinnias are our second biggest crop. They are the perfect cut flower because they produce a wide variety of vibrant colors, bloom prolifically throughout the summer, and attract many pollinators like butterflies and bees. We start thousands of zinnias from seed every year that will bloom July until frost.

Sunflowers

Sunflowers are sure to brighten anyone's day.  They are definitely unique because when in bloom, their big bright heads tend to follow the sun as it moves.

They have a really long vase life which is why we grow thousands of sunflowers by seed every year. They start blooming in June and we have blooms until end of September.

Lisianthus

Lisianthus is our go to wedding flower along side dahlias and ranunculus. Their unique and delicate appearance gives a very elegant style to any arrangement. We also love them because of their phenomenal vase life. When many flowers are spent in the vase, lisianthus is still beautiful and going strong. They typically bloom in July and then again in October.

Ranunculus

We love, love, love ranunculus! We consider them a

delicate spring rose. They are beautifully elegant and whimsical at the same time. Along with some of our other favorite flowers, their vase life is excellent. Their blooms will some times last 2 to 3 weeks in a vase! The only unfavorable thing about ranunculus is their short bloom period. We typically have them in only April and May.

Tulips

Tulips are one of the most beautiful spring flowers. We plant thousands of tulip bulbs every fall to get our cut flower season started in April. Mother nature mostly predicts when the tulips will bloom and they are like candy to deer so fencing is necessary to protect this expensive crop. We have tulip blooms with ranunculus in April and May.

Chrysanthemums

Chrysanthemums finish our cut flower season with beautiful bold, vibrant blooms. These popular fall flowers are said to symbolize friendship, happiness, and well-being. Tucked away in our greenhouse, they produce blooms in October and November.
